Bikes to go around the world: Adventure and humanity
Adventurers who are on a bicycle set off around the world, stayed in Montenegro for several days. From our country are best impressions and time continues through Albania
Two interesting passengers visited these days in Montenegro. Jakob Stejnkul and Ernest Rog Kampi set off on bicycles from Germany on a trip around the world. They're doing it for adventure, but also for humanitarian reasons, because they want to promote NGO Don Bosco that around the world helps poor children.
For Montenegro say that they felt at home. Fascinated by the nature, and of hospitality, and especially they liked our barbecue. They expect to arrive at the final destination, in Vietnam, for about a year, then in June next year.
Jakob and Ernest are on their way around the world. They set off from Cologne and they go in Vietnam.
"We ride bikes to charity, because we want to help the organization of Don Bosco, we are involved in several projects, one of them is in Istanbul, through which we pass. At the same time, all this is for us a big adventure," said Jakob Steinkul
Until now crossed more than two thousand and 300 kilometers. On two wheels, is not easy.
"It was quite difficult at times, for example, over the Alps, there is a lot of snow and it was cold, we had the bad weather," he explained Steinkul.
"It was difficult, because the bikes we have around 45 kilograms of luggage, and we drove up the hill after a few hours ..." explains Ernest Rog Kampi.
It was difficult to drive along the Croatian coast. Bothered them was the rain, but also many cars on the highway. Precisely their car the most annoying, especially in this part of Europe, with poor traffic culture.
"People in Slovenia have told us Notice to drivers in Croatia. Then we in Croatia say that we look at the drivers in Montenegro, and here in Montenegro we say if you're going to Albania, because Albania careful drivers crazy ride. So , we will have to watch out, we hope that we all drivers to see. We will be focused and we hope nothing will happen, "said Steinkul.
They sleep in a tent, so you ask someone to let them in the yard. In Montenegro, James and Ernest say they are fine welcomed. Everyone wanted to help them and that they were often bribing. They liked it, especially the grill.
"We planned to stay here for two days, but we stayed five people are friendly in Kotor and here in Podgorica, for us all to be interesting," says Steinkul.
"Yesterday we went to a restaurant, I do not remember what it's called ... a little meat kebabs ... ..." said Kampi.
So Jakob and Ernest continued his way. Crossing the border, as they say, and those in my head and those between states.
